ITERATION OF A CLOTHESPIN
Iteration of a Clothespin is a collection of works created with different mediums that shows different ways to use a simple everyday object, a clothespin. It expresses creative insight on how an item can be multi-purpose. The book is filled with 30+ iterations of the same object by using different materials and layering. This project allowed me to have creative freedom with digital drawing, photoshop, photography, scanning and layering, painting, and graphite drawing.
Clothespins are interesting yet simple everyday items. The Iteration of a Clothespin shows creative ways in which an item can be displayed and used for many other functions than its original form of hanging and holding clothes or pieces of cloth together. Throughout the book, the clothespin is displayed in ways that will still make sense and complement the everyday object.
